Temporary staff is a personnel recruited for working in temporary projects with different duration period from 6 hours to 6 months depending on project length or special duties. Such staff is usually service personnel, merchandisers, promoters, translators, industrial and trade personnel, personnel involved in exhibitions, presentations, conferences etc.
Companies often proceed with temporary staff due to business seasonality matters, necessity to employ rare specialist for a certain period, necessity to replace a vacant post for a short term (at the period of illness, maternity leave, vacation, etc.) or when additional personnel needs to be employed to realize promo-actions, opinion polls or marketing research. Businesses benefit from having temporary personnel through fast and qualified staffing at the requested amount and in necessary terms, reduction of personnel paperwork and compensation package costs.
STAFAR offers to employ such temporary personnel on outstaffing basis in order for companies to enjoy greater flexibility through redistribution of labor risks and reduction of financial and administrative costs associated with regular staff. In 2010, Asian Development Bank selected STAFAR to manage recruitment and administration of temporary personnel during the 43rd ADB Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors, which was for the first time held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
